John Collins has passed away. He was Uncle Walter Renfroe’s, Larry’s Mom’s, and Aunt Joyce Grigsby’s first cousin. Granny Renfroe and John’s mother, Martha, were sisters. Their father was Howard Standridge of Falling Water, AR. John was a hard worker. When he was able, he cleaned and took care of many family cemeteries. He had Sissom Cemetery looking like a park. Last time I tried to go there I couldn’t even get to it. John was awarded the Bronze Star during the Korean Conflict. He was a strong Christian and an example for all who knew him.
