DNA connections to Henry Powell (1802-1890) Our GGG Grandfather

 Looking at our many DNA connections to Henry Powell, we have matches to each of his children except for Andrew Jackson Powell.  With so many DNA tests, it is odd that no one matches descendants of Andrew Jackson.

Andrew Jackson no matches

Joe B has 156 matches to Henry, with 66 of those to John

Betty has 110 to Henry, 62 to John

Fleta has 96 to Henry, 57 to John

Gilbert has106 to Henry, 50 to John

Helen has 101 to Henry, 57 to John

Andrew Jackson live to be 90 years old, had 4 children live to adulthood, and 10 grandchildren.

John lived to 38 had 6 children, and 18 grandchildren that lived to adulthood,  John's daughter Matilda did not have any bio children.

We will keep looking for DNA connections to Andrew Jackson Powell.  Maybe his descendants are not interested in genealogy.  We know our Richard Powell  has 1 grandchild that did DNA testing at Ancestry, 6 great grandchildren tested, 14 2g and 3g grandchildren tested. And, that is just the ones we know about.
